Quality Control

The qualification of the molds is centrally implemented in the technical department at KTW Austria. Here, every mold is intensely tested to manufacturing conditions according to the customer's specifications and prepared for world-wide distribution after acceptance. Dedicated test run machines of 75t to 550t and with up to 4 components secure the highest possible flexibility for the qualification.

Sample-tests may include

• Drop test
• Opening force
• Capping/Decapping test
• Leakage test in a vacuum chamber
• Pressure test
• CO2 test
• Heating chamber
